§ 78-62. Parking to be within lines or markings.

  • The council may cause to be placed lines or marks on the curb and/or on the street to designate the parking space to be used, and each vehicle parked alongside a curb or designated city parking lot shall park within the lines or marks so established. It shall be a violation to park any vehicle across any such lines or marks or to park such vehicle in such a way that the same shall not be within the area so designated by such lines or markings. A person who violates this section shall be responsible for a parking violation, subject to payment of a civil fine as set forth in section 78-96.
