§ 2.1. Public sessions—Records.

All business of the City shall be conducted at a public meeting held in compliance with the Open Meetings Act [Act No. 267 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1976 (MCL 15.261 et seq., MSA 4.1800(11) et seq.)], unless otherwise provided by law. All public records of the City shall be available for inspection during normal business hours at the office of the City Clerk/Treasurer in compliance with the Freedom of Information Act [Act No. 442 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1976 (MCL 15.231 et seq., MSA 4.1801 et seq.)], unless otherwise provided by law.
